OVAL EXPRESS is Australia's leading specialist speedway publication. Published 12 times annually, Oval Express is on sale on the first Wednesday of each month. The full colour high gloss A4-sized magazine is a feature based publication with emphasis upon quality artwork, content, presentation and production standards unrivalled elsewhere in the sport. Our constant goal is to provide competitors with a quality glossy publication they would be proud to have displayed on a sponsor’s coffee table while, at the same time, giving advertisers value in providing the best possible medium in which to display their products. Celebrating its seventh anniversary, Oval Express is a multi award winning magazine whose well respected contributors concentrate upon exclusive and unique articles that encompass personalities, businesses within the industry, technical stories and behind-the-scenes information from speedway's major domestic and international events. Illustrating these stories is the very best quality pictorial coverage from renowned photographers as well as an extensive and exclusive photo library from decades of first hand experience within speedway. The combined enthusiasm of our staff and contributors is unmatched with a wealth of experience in publishing, journalism and photography. As the most widely travelled media in all of speedway, we are able to capitalise upon our international contacts from more than 30 visits to the United States. Oval Express magazine’s co-owners Phil Jordison and Jon Evans began writing and shooting for ‘Oval Track’ magazine more than 20 years ago. In the intervening years their working relationship has since led to joint publication of ‘The Sprintcar Experience’ yearbook, production of several annual programs for the national touring World Series Sprintcars Championship plus work published in respected American magazines such as ‘National Speed Sport News’, ‘Open Wheel’ and ‘Sprint Car & Midget’.
